WOW!!! Tygers are still around??? What were they like? I always wanted to hear them. They were another of those UK bands that got TONS of coverage over there, but you never heard anything by in the US.

You know what? I never actually heard any of their stuff, although the name always used to crop up in Kerrang. I'll check them out on Thurs.

Is that a good "bloody hell" or a bad one? I checked out some stuff at their site from their new album, pretty decent stuff. They are starting to look a bit old, and don't look much like I remember them looking. But hey, what can ya do?

All I know about them is that Sykes was in the band before he was in Whitesnake. I've always heard a great deal about them as well and used to want to check 'em out. Now, I guess I might. Just won't spend a lotta money on it, though.

<font size="4" face="Arial">Neither one nor t'other really, I'm just surprised they've reformed. Haven't heard from them in years. As I recall they did some pretty groovy stuff (their cover of "Love Potion No 9" is pure classic).

They have been around in different formats on and off for years now.I think the guitarist is the only remaining original member now and possibly the drummer.
Agree they were brilliant years ago, dunno what they are like though. I usede to love this band, one of the few that did. Got all their early stuff, when Jess Cox sang for them, and stuff from the John Sykes era to the Cage album.
Never thought of them as a Glam band though. Guess what though I have some pics from when they played Coventry.
Jess Cox works for neat records and does not intend to return to singing I read a while ago.
